MILANGKALA (birthday) 62nd HIMAS (History Education Student Association)

Being physically separated does not mean that a sense of togetherness cannot be generated. There are efforts that we can make to create a space where we can create togetherness. One of them is creating a climate that we can form from an activity that can bring us together either directly or indirectly. The distance currently imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, which limits face-to-face meetings, does not rule out the possibility for us to create a sense of togetherness.

The Student Association of the Department of History Education, Faculty of Social Science Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia held the 62nd HIMAS Milangkala to create a sense of togetherness among HIMAS residents with the theme “Stay Together Despite The Distance.” With increasing age, HIMAS can become a momentum for HIMAS residents to continue to create a sense of togetherness and enthusiasm to continue to bring the HIMAS organization towards a much better direction and reach the peak of its glory.

This event was a success thanks to the support of all parties. This activity is offline at the Bumi Sarimukti Complex No. 35 01/08, which approximately ten committee members attended by implementing health protocols. This event was also attended by the Department of History Education representatives, namely Mrs. Labibatussolihah S, Pd. M, Pd. This event was attended by around 100 students of the History Education department from various generations connected via virtual meet. It was cutting the cone as a symbolic form of gratitude for the increasing age of HIMAS. The event was continued with video appearances of the generations and quizzes that added warmth during this pandemic.
