Background
West Java is a province known to have various kinds of rich historical, artistic, and cultural heritage and traditional solid values. The younger generation is expected to have a variety of creative and cultural talents without forgetting their historical traces and to be able to offer a new perspective on historical heritage from time to time.
According to Nardi’s statement (1989), photography is derived from the Greek, namely Photos, which means light, and Graphos, which means painting, which means that photography is an activity of “painting with light.” In general, it is known as a method for producing an image of an object by recording the reflection of light from the thing using a light-sensitive medium.
Photography has more power in telling a story in an object that is intended, even without the presence of sound and movement. This is what makes the art of photography in demand by all circles. There have also been many kinds of photography competitions held.
