Dr. Wawan Darmawan, M.Hum, and Wildan Insan Fauzi, M.Pd, opened the Introduction to a History lecture. This course will present several subjects, understandings, and problems regarding the Introduction of historical science with a discussion on history as a science, historical methods, historical sources and historical auxiliary sciences; causality and historical explanation; the chronology of history, developments, and historical problems as a science and the characteristics of the science of history; values, functions, and uses of history and history as a vehicle for education. The lecture process is more emphasized on discussions and assignments. The final competence expected from this course is mastery and comprehensive analysis of the Introduction to historical science.
