Preparing References in Scientific Journals for UPI Journal Managers
The UPI Journal and Publication Office (KJP) carried out scientific journal reference training for UPI journal managers on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. This training focused on revisions and discussions regarding journal article references carried out online and attended by 100 participants.
The first training carried out by the KJP Team will be in 2023, chaired by Prof. Dr. Eng. Asep Bayu Dani Nandiyanto, S.T., M.Eng, as well as the speaker in this session facilitated participants to share and discuss the progress of journals that had been worked on. Participants received inputs and revisions from the presenters, so they hoped to refine further and increase journal accreditation within the UPI environment.
In this session, the presenters discussed mainly general references that must be corrected by every journal manager required for accreditation. Scientific Journal Accreditation is a program used to measure scientific journal publications so that they have a reputation and competitiveness nationally and internationally. The essence of Journal Accreditation is to improve the quality and reputation of scientific journals in Indonesia.
It is hoped that this can be an answer to the challenges faced by the Indonesian University of Education, including increasing publication achievements, increasing national journal accreditation achievements, increasing the achievements of indexers with national and international reputations, improving online management of scientific journals, as well as improving journal substance quality management. Scientific.
Through training on the journal management system within the Indonesian University of Education, which the Journal and Publication Office organizes, it is hoped that it will provide convenience in the management and governance of scientific journals within the Indonesian University of Education.
