Digital teaching materials have the potential to be used in learning by history teachers in Tasikmalaya. History teachers in Tasikmsalaya have the potential to develop digital teaching materials because their perception of digital teaching materials is quite good. Teachers basically need to prepare history teaching materials as a medium for learning. They use teaching materials so that students don’t get bored when learning history. They also need to enliven the history learning atmosphere in class to be more communicative and fun. Digital teaching materials are one solution that can be used by history teachers. Today’s very advanced technology has the potential to develop digital history teaching materials. Digital history teaching materials through technology can provide something interesting and contemporary. Today’s students, known as generation Z, should be able to easily use digital teaching materials.
The PKM which was held in Tasikmalaya was carried out using Blended Learning. This PKM is designed for 3 days online and 1 day offline with a duration of 32 JP. During the online training, history teachers received theoretical instruction on ICT literacy, Digital Teaching Materials, Digital Teaching Materials in History Learning and Design of Digital Teaching Materials in History Learning. While offline, lecturers and instructors provide refreshments to teachers and train teachers in designing digital teaching materials.
