We give thanks to God Almighty. The P2M activities carried out by Himas in the 2020/2021 management can still be carried out correctly and smoothly, even during the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the entire world. The impact received from this pandemic has undoubtedly hit all aspects of life, such as social, political, economic, cultural, and educational. Therefore, the P2M Himas activity work program for 2020/2021 was carried out with the Himas Peduli (You Share, You Care). This P2M Himas activity is carried out based on the Tridharma of higher education, one of which is Service, also based on a sense of humanity needed by the community during the current pandemic.
The P2M activity, Himas Peduli, was held for two days, where on the first day, this activity was carried out in the areas of each participant who had been grouped, by distributing several masks, hand sanitizers, as well as brochures regarding covid-19 information and how to deal with it. Then on the second day, namely as the culmination of the Himas Peduli (You Share, You Care) activity, this activity was carried out in a place that was following what had become the objectives/targets of the implementing committee, taking into account that the area where this activity was held is an area affected by COVID-19 which is relatively high in the Bandung area. The site targeted for this activity is the Kurdish Village RW 01, located in the Karasak Exit, Astanaanyar District. Where in the area, from December to early January, up to 30 people were affected by COVID-19 and became one of the highest in the city of Bandung. The activity on the second day started with remarks from the committee and lecturers, and the responsible local officials. After that, it was continued by distributing necessities, disinfectant liquid, public handwashing places, hand soap, several masks, and brochures as in the first activity.
The P2M Himas activity for the 2020/2021 period, namely Himas Peduli (You Share, You Care), is at this moment said to have been successfully implemented because it was following the objectives and targets of the activity, as well as the indicators set by the committee, even exceeding the planned expectations.
