Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Chancellor of the Indonesian University of Education (UPI), Prof. Dr. M. Solehuddin, M.Pd., M.A., together with all levels of the UPI academic community, expressed their condolences over the passing of Prof. Dr. H. Didi Suherdi, M.Ed., to Rahmatullah, Thursday (27/4/2023), in Bandung.
The deceased was a UPI Postgraduate School (SPs) leader as Head of the English Language Education Study Program, Masters Program. Prof. Didi has also served as Dean of the Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS).
The body was prayed for at the Al-Furqan UPI Mosque, and according to information, it was buried at the Firdaus Memorial Park Muslim Cemetery.
This was stated by the Chancellor of UPI, Prof. Solehuddin,” Prof. Dr. H. Didi Suherdi, M.Ed., is an earnest person, a person who is very serious in serving and developing his knowledge. “The person is also steadfast, God willing, husnul khotimah.”
What he experienced was the various illnesses he experienced, said the Chancellor, but there was no feeling of regret or pain. Instead, everything is faced with total surrender to Allah SWT.
