On January 31, 2020, the Department of Historical Education held the final activity of the thesis trial process, which took place two weeks earlier, namely the graduation announcement. The training took place in the Department of Historical Education laboratory, 4th floor of the Numan Sumantri building, FPIPS UPI.
This is a new policy in the department because the judicial announcement is not made after the trial but waiting for students to improve their thesis after receiving input from the examiners. Students are given 2 (two) weeks to strengthen their idea. The policy is based on previous experiences where students were lazy to improve their thesis after the trial. This has an impact on them not receiving a diploma at graduation.
