Lectures on “Regional Language and History”

Regional Language and History Lectures with Dr. Wawan Darmawan, M.Hum. Regional Language and History is a new subject in the 2018 curriculum. This elective course will complement students’ competence as educators, which is delivered in the local language (Sundanese). This course is an enrichment to understand the history in the immediate environment of the student’s residence, which can be contracted after the student has passed the Local History course. This course focuses on the study of historical buildings: artifacts, buildings, monuments, etc., and the names of unique/distinctive places in the city/district as a provision to develop tourist destinations. At the end of the lecture, students are expected to be skilled in practicing by explaining or narrating the focus of the study (Regional History) using Sundanese.
